The Givers of Dreams Scholarship Program is designed to support Hmong students’ pursuit of higher education. This program is organized by dedicated volunteers in the community. The Givers of Dreams Scholarship Program aims to award Hmong students globally, with scholarships to pursue their educational journey. Our mission is to create educational opportunities, hopes and the means to keep dreams alive for all children.
Criteria & Eligibility

Students must be of Hmong descent (at least one parent is of Hmong descent).

Must be a student pursuing a 2 or 4-year college, vocational/trade school, or graduate program.

Must have been accepted into a 2 or 4-year college, vocation/trade school, or graduate program (must verify with a document).
A total of 6 successful recipients will be awarded a $500 scholarship each to their choice of a 2 or 4-year college, vocational/trade school, or graduate program.
All applications must be submitted by email to scholarship@giversofdreams.org by May 24, 2024, at 11:59 pm CST.
Scholarship Application Materials

A copy of acceptance/enrollment letter to college, university, or academic program.

An 1000 word essay answering the scholarship essay prompts.

A completed Global Student Impact Scholarship application.
#4
A copy of an unofficial academic transcript from previous institutions.

One letter of recommendation.
#6
Online interview (will be scheduled if selected as a finalist).
